Scholarship

Overview

At HSB, scholarships are a key instrument in advancing the School’s mission of educating young talents to become leaders, executives, and managers for both the public and private sectors. As demonstrated in the scholarship portfolio presented in the table below, HSB’s scholarship framework is aligned with multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting inclusive and equitable access to higher education and academic excellence; SDG 5 (Gender Equality) through equal opportunity–based selection; and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by supporting disadvantaged and underrepresented groups. In addition, industry-linked and employer-sponsored scholarships contribute to SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by strengthening employability and workforce readiness, while the extensive collaboration with domestic and international foundations, enterprises, and institutions reflects strong commitment to SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Collectively, these initiatives nurture talent, encourage leadership potential, and create meaningful opportunities for both the talented and the disadvantaged.

Scholarship types

The scholarships presented in the table below reflect the wide range of funding sources supporting HSB students in recent years. These include scholarships funded by HSB and Vietnam National University (VNU), contributions from domestic and international enterprises, financial institutions, and foundations, as well as support from governmental and social policy schemes. Collectively, these diverse funding sources demonstrate strong partnerships between HSB and external stakeholders, and highlight a shared commitment to investing in human capital development and student success.
