Overview
The HSB Ethics Committee is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and enforcement of academic integrity and ethical standards across the School. Chaired by the Rector and composed of Deans, heads of academic units, and faculty representatives, the Committee works closely with academic and administrative departments to review cases, assess risks and ensure consistent application of institutional regulations in teaching, learning, and research activities.
Through regular meetings and timely coordination, the Committee addresses reported violations, issues guidance on emerging ethical concerns, including those related to the use of Artificial Intelligence, and supports the effective execution of policies in line with international academic quality and ethical standards.

Meeting Schedule
The Committee convenes on a monthly basis, during the last week of each month, as an integral part of the School’s quality assurance, risk management, and continuous improvement framework. These meetings support systematic review of academic integrity cases, institutional learning from identified trends, and the ongoing enhancement of policies and practices, thereby strengthening governance effectiveness and alignment with international academic quality and ethical standards.
