Learning development support

Overview

Learning development at HSB is delivered through a structured set of academic support activities led by the Undergraduate Program Management Office (UPMO). These activities are designed to support all students in developing the knowledge base, academic skills, and learning strategies necessary to become confident, independent, and active learners.

Through individual academic consultations, targeted workshops, and skills-development programs, UPMO supports students in identifying and strengthening the academic competencies required for success across their programs of study. In addition to formal academic support, learning development activities are also integrated into student life initiatives, providing continuous and holistic support throughout students’ academic journeys. These activities are inclusive of the entire student body and are not limited to any specific subgroup, ensuring equitable access and alignment with institutional academic standards.
