On October 4, 2024, at Võ Nguyên Giáp Hall, Professor Brent W. Ritchie, Dean of the Business School at the University of Queensland, delivered valuable insights on crisis management in the service industry during the workshop “Crisis and Disaster Management in Service Industries.”

Professor Brent W. Ritchie shared practical perspectives and in-depth knowledge on crisis management in the service industry, highlighting the importance of preparedness and collaboration among stakeholders to enhance response capabilities and recovery after disasters. The workshop attracted significant attention from faculty members and students of the School of Business and Management (HSB) at Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU).

In the second part of the event, HSB students had the opportunity to explore interesting information about the University of Queensland, opening up study abroad opportunities at a top 50 global university. Vũ Thu Giang, a UQ alumna, offered a close and realistic view of life and studies at UQ. Her stories about learning experiences, networking opportunities, and career development after graduation garnered significant interest from the students. The lively Q&A session addressed many inquiries about the study abroad journey, cultural integration, and career potential after graduation.

The workshop provided not only valuable information but also networking opportunities. Students were equipped with additional knowledge and had the chance to interact with experts and alumni, better preparing themselves for future study abroad endeavors.
