Many of HSB’s research projects focus on interdisciplinary areas such as national governance, local governance, non-traditional security, digital transformation, and sustainable development, thereby contributing to policy-making and enhancing management effectiveness across levels.

The achievements of generations of faculty, staff, and students at HSB were formally recognized through the awarding of the Second-Class Labor Medal, conferred for the School’s outstanding accomplishments in training and scientific research, particularly its contributions to preventing and responding to non-traditional security threats, safeguarding national security, and promoting sustainable development. On behalf of the President, Vice Minister Hoàng Minh Sơn presented the Second-Class Labor Medal to HSB.
