NOTICE OF VINGROUP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS SCHOLARY YEAR 2022 – 2023

To implement the cooperation agreement between VinAcademy Education and Training Co., Ltd (VinAcademy) and Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) signed on March 30, 2023, VNU has announced to the units of the Companion Scholarship Program Vingroup- VNU for the academic year 2022-2023. Details of scholarships for students at HSB School of Business and Management – Vietnam National University, Hanoi are as follows:

1. Subjects and selection criteria
The student of the QH.2022 class is the valedictorian / runner-up; or have good academic performance and good conduct in 3 years of high school; or won prizes in regional and international Olympic competitions, national competitions for excellent students.
Students from the 2nd year onwards: Have academic results of good or higher and training results of good grades in the academic year 2021-2022;
Having passion for scientific research, creative thinking, achievements in scientific research, and award-winning research projects/projects at all levels.
Priority is given to female students and students with difficult circumstances
2. Value of each scholarship: 00.000 VND/student/school year
The total value of the scholarship is up to 100 million VND / 4 years / 1 student, if the student can maintain the academic results according to the provisions of the Sponsor.
3. Scholarship quota: 02 students.
Scholarships are reviewed annually. Conditions for maintaining the scholarship: academic scores of 3.2 or higher, training results of good or higher; associated with the scholarship program through periodic joint activities in accordance with the Program’s regulations. In case a student does not meet the requirements to maintain the scholarship, it will not be granted again and the scholarship will not be awarded to other students.
4. Rights and responsibilities of scholarship recipients
Benefits of students receiving scholarships
Have the opportunity to participate in training programs on study skills, research, soft skills and science and technology lectures by scientists working at VinUni University;
The opportunity to apply for research projects under the guidance of Professors or to apply for research grants as an official student of VinUni;
Have the opportunity to access VinUni’s library;
Have the opportunity to practice, recruit into companies of Vingroup after graduation if the companies have recruitment needs.
Responsibilities of the student receiving the scholarship
Actively participate in community projects with a minimum recommended duration of 40 hours/year;

Actively spread information about the scholarship program and introduce excellent students to apply for new admission every year (according to specific announcements each year);
Be encouraged to participate in community projects implemented by VinUni students or propose to implement projects for VinUni students and VNU students to participate.

An essay (typed) of about 500 words introducing yourself, your academic abilities, and what the candidate wants to become in the next 10 years;
Transcript for the academic year 2021-2022 certified by the training unit. For students of the QH. 2022 course: Summons of candidates who have been admitted to university;
A certified copy of: Academic achievements, awards, scientific research, difficult circumstances; foreign language certificate… (if any).

Instructions for submitting applications

Hard copy: All the above documents require students to put them in order, put in a separate file bag with dimensions of 25cm x 34cm. On the outside of the bag, complete information (register for Vingroup companion scholarship for the academic year 2022-2023, Full name, Date of birth, Faculty address, School, Phone, Email, List of documents) . Submitted documents are not returned.
Soft copy: Student records are sent in the form of 1 pdf file, including scanned copies of documents arranged in the above order, with the file name being the student’s first and last name.

6. Deadline for submission of application form
Before 3:00 p.m. on May 22, 2023
