The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of nearly 400 new intake students, along with over 100 lecturers and staff members. Furthermore, representatives and leaders from Vietnam National University, Hanoi were in attendance. The event also saw the esteemed presence of distinguished international guests, including Mrs. Jennifer Bahen, the Education and Research Counselor from the Australian Embassy in Vietnam, who participated as an international partner. In addition to commemorating the 28th anniversary of the school and the 30th anniversary of VNU, the commencement of the new school year 2023-2024 signified a momentous step for HSB. It marked the initiation of a new journey as HSB embarked on its first academic year with all training programs internationally accredited by ACQUIN, a renowned organization with a successful track record of accrediting more than 7,000 higher education programs across 29 countries and territories, namely Technische Universität München at Top 50 worldwide, and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München at Top 60. Addressing the audience during the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Dinh Phi, Rector of HSB, emphasized, “HSB’s accreditation by ACQUIN, a prestigious international accreditation organization, has paved the way for comprehensive integration in compliance with international higher education standards. Soon, society will reap the benefits of well-trained and quality-assured human resources that meet international standards, provided by HSB to the labor market.”
Furthermore, HSB has been granted official membership in the American Association of Schools of Business (AACSB), one of the world’s foremost accrediting bodies for business schools. As an official member, HSB was committed to expanding its collaboration with the AACSB network and is poised to pursue AACSB accreditation in the future.

HSB’s admission process is characterized by rigorous selection procedures, encompassing EQ (Emotional Quotient) interviews, assessments of English proficiency, and academic achievement evaluations. In the fifth year of implementing the undergraduate program, HSB has carefully chosen nearly 400 new students for four programs in the 2023-2024 academic year. These individuals exhibited exceptional academic prowess and possessed talents in music, art, editing, and so on. They were highly expected to excel in their pursuit of education, contributing to the realization of six core values: “Health – Ethics – Will – Talent – Love – Responsibility.”
In the new academic year 2023-2024, HSB embarks on a new phase in its developmental journey – a path characterized by comprehensive integration in adherence to international higher education standards. This marks the gradual affirmation of HSB’s position as an institution committed to continuous innovation and pioneering in interdisciplinary research and education. HSB comprises two major Schools of Thought, Integrated Business Management (IMB) and Non-Traditional Security Management (MNS).
