INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH GROUP FOR FACULTY MEMBERS AND STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT (HSB)

Research Group on Assessing the Current Situation and Proposing Preventive and Responsive Solutions to Non-Traditional Security Threats in Quang Ninh Province

 Group Name:

Research Group on Assessing the Current Situation and Proposing Preventive and Responsive Solutions to Non-Traditional Security Threats in Quang Ninh Province

 Introduction:

Non-traditional security is an important element of national and global security. In the context of globalization and Vietnam’s active international integration in various fields, non-traditional security issues have had frequent and significant impacts on the security and safety of localities, nations, regions, and the world as a whole. The impacts and influences of non-traditional security are closely related to the security and sustainable development of each country.

In recent years, research on non-traditional security issues and their impacts on national security and sustainable development has received attention. However, this research is still limited in scope and not comprehensive. In particular, issues related to the theory and practice of prevention and response to non-traditional security crises and threats have not been adequately emphasized, especially in the context of a specific locality such as Quang Ninh Province. Given the unique and significant nature of Quang Ninh Province, which is highly sensitive to non-traditional security issues and the prevention and response to such issues in general, as well as non-traditional security crises and threats in particular, there is an urgent need for research to enhance theoretical awareness and practical application of prevention and response in the context of Quang Ninh Province. Therefore, the Center for Management and Administration of Non-Traditional Security Research (NSMS) at the School of Business and Management, National University, Hanoi, proposes the scientific and technological mission “Research on Assessing the Current Situation and Proposing Preventive and Responsive Solutions to Non-Traditional Security Threats in Quang Ninh Province” to meet the urgent theoretical and practical needs.
