  1. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

The dissertation contributes to developing the theory of technology security management, clarifying the concept of technology security and building an analytical framework on technology security management based on non-traditional security theory and equations.

Apply technological determinism theory, socio-technical theory, resource theory and non-traditional security management theory to define the concept of technology security and build a framework of criteria for evaluating the impact of technology. The impact of technology security management on business performance – measured by loss and loss factors.

Presenting the intrinsic elements of technology security management with elements proposed through interviews and inherited from studies on technology management, technology-related security management such as cyber security, critical infrastructure security.

  1. Practical applicability, if any:

Clarifying the current state of technology system quality, EVN’s current technological security risks as well as assessing the severity of technology-related risk groups that may affect EVN’s organizational performance.

The dissertation has tested a number of hypotheses and proven technology security management factors such as safety, technology stability, technology security risk management, cognitive capacity and human risk all have a direct impact on losses of organizations with high technology content such as EVN and its subsidiaries. This proves the importance and practice of research on technological security management and this is a useful research direction for the practice of organizations and enterprises with high technology content such as EVN and other companies. The field of technological security management has a lot of potential for applications with future types of technology organizations and enterprises or important national technology systems.

  1. Further research directions, if any:

Further develop an analytic and assessment of technological security, focusing on critical information infrastructure.
