With an outstanding project of high practical value, HSB surpassed strong competitors to win the top prize worth VND 200 million along with a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training.
“New Generation Students 2025” is a reality television program co-organized by Herbalife Vietnam and VTV3, aiming to inspire and empower Vietnamese university students to unlock their full potential while developing essential life and leadership skills. Entering its third season, the 2025 edition was upgraded in both format and interactive activities, revolving around the spirit of “LIVE OUR BEST LIFE!” and the ASK value framework (Attitude – Skills – Knowledge).
The competition followed a five-arena format: Identity, Sports & Talent, Reality, Resilience, and the National Grand Final. Each arena featured challenges that required students to integrate knowledge, skills, leadership abilities, and teamwork. Through all rounds, HSB students demonstrated strong commitment and confidence in their project, ultimately outperforming the remaining teams.
HSB students’ project, “Rising with Digital Platforms”, is a non-profit community project aimed at supporting people with disabilities in Hanoi by equipping them with basic digital skills to promote and sell their handcrafted products on platforms such as Facebook and TikTok. Through a simple and practical training model, the project connects participants with technology, creating opportunities for self-reliance, sustainable integration, and greater confidence.

The team’s journey began at the Recruitment Round held at Vo Nguyen Giap Hall, School of Business and Management, VNU Hanoi, where five outstanding students were selected from ten candidates to represent the university. The HSB team included Nguyen Hai Ha (MET5), Kieu Khanh Nam (MET5), Dao Ngoc Quynh Chau (MAC4), Dao Thi Huong Ly (HAT3), and Nguyen Duc Thanh (MET4).
In subsequent rounds, students were required to apply a wide range of skills, including presentation, debate, agile thinking, and investor persuasion in the simulated investment challenge. HSB confidently competed against teams from Hanoi Architectural University, Hanoi Law University, and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.
The Reality Round marked a key phase, where ideas moved from presentation to action. In a 48-hour challenge, the HSB team implemented their project under intense pressure, alongside teams from Hanoi Architectural University and Hanoi Law University. During this stage, HSB collaborated with partners including VNPT Technology, Chạm Vào Xanh, the “I Am Good” project – Leather Hospital, and Bavieco Pharma to support project implementation.
The Grand Final was not just a performance, but a fair confrontation of intellect and real-world action. Across three challenging rounds: Project Results Report, Debate Relay, and Future Outlook, HSB team fully convinced the judges with a systematic, professional approach grounded in strong humanistic values.

While other teams impressed with explosive performances, HSB stood out through concrete data and sustainable project operations. Their project went beyond the student level to truly touch real lives, addressing pressing social issues aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). HSB – Rising with Digital Platforms team won not by pursuing something grand, but by delivering something real: helping people with disabilities take control of their lives through everyday technology. With a simple, practical approach and a strong commitment to seeing the project through, HSB focused less on distant promises and more on tangible results, real people, and visible change.
When Mr. Do Thanh Hai – Deputy Director General of Vietnam Television and a representative of the Ministry of Education and Training announced HSB as the champion, the entire auditorium erupted in joy. With the championship title, HSB team received a total prize of VND 200 million along with a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, recognizing the talent and responsibility of a new generation of students.
